Escape to Adventure
Grama Bay: Wild beaches and secret caves of Karaburun Peninsula
Grama Bay is located at the foot of the western slope of Rrëza e Kanali mountain, west of the town of Orikum in the district of Vlora. The sea bay goes several hundred meters into the land, where it forms a rocky coast with cliffs. There must also be underwater caves.
The natural landscape of Grama Bay is very attractive to every visitor. This bay has been used a lot to protect ships from storms at sea. It was also used as a quarry for a long time in antiquity.
The Grama quarry is well known since ancient times. The sailors who sheltered the ships there, the workers who extracted rock blocks that were used for construction in the Illyrian and larger cities have carved there the names and many other data.
That is why the cave located there is often called the cave of writings.

The sea can be somewhat unpredictable at times so even though our helms are highly experienced, it may occasionally get a little bumpy. It is for this reason that we would recommend that you do not join us until your child is old enough to come along too.
